It was so easy to schedule this appointment online and the service happened quickly. I sent my online request on Friday night and Henry was at my door first thing Saturday morning. Henry was courteous, polite, and friendly and explained what needed to be done. The first repair made didn’t 100% solve our toilet issue, so he made sure to recheck everything and ended up replacing a part that he needed to go out and get. Henry was respectful of my time and my home and I appreciate that. Will definitely use this company again!
Joe was amazing.Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He inspected the a/c system and diagnosed several issues that needed to be addressed. He took care of them and performed several tests to make sure everything worked well.I couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. Strongly recommended.
We enjoy fresh water at the turn of a faucet and the quickrelief when we flush a toilet or run the sink, but there’s one part of the plumbing system that rarely gets any love: the sewer line.Tucked away underground, the sewer line quietly shuttles wastewater from our homes and businesses to the municipal sewer system.
Some property owners even think the sewer line is the city or municipality’s responsibility. To be fair, this is partly correct. Still, homeowners have some duties as well. If neglected, the sewer line can turn your life into a nightmare – legally, financially, and health-wise.
Tailored services to meet your specific needs and budget, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
If you’re looking for a trained and experienced plumber, then contact Service Hero to hire a uniformed professional. We offer general inspection services as well as repairs, replacements, and installations.
There’s a common misconception that sewer lines are entirely the city’s responsibility. While municipalities do maintain the main sewer system, property owners are responsible for the lateral sewer line – the section that runs from their home or business to the municipal main.
If a clog, break, or root invasion occurs in this private section, the burden of fixing it falls squarely on the property owner’s shoulders.Slow drains, gurgling toilets, and sewage backups are all warning signs of a potential sewer line problem. If left unchecked, a damaged sewer line can lead to foundation issues, property damage, and even health hazards
With all the how-to videos available online, it might be tempting to tackle plumbing issues with a DIY mindset. When it comes to sewer lines, however, DIY solutions are rarely effective and often make matters worse. Here’s why:
1. Sewer line repair requires specialized tools like sewer cameras, hydro-jetting machines, and trenchless repair technology. Most homeowners don’t have access to these tools.
2. Sewer line repairs involve exposure to raw sewage which contains harmful bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens.
3. Sewer line work often requires permits and must comply with local building codes.
4. A small mistake in a sewer line repair can result in major expenses. Digging in the wrong place, improperly sealing a pipe, or using the wrong materials can lead to more damage.
As you can see, there is a lot more to DIY work than saving a buck. Many times, hiring professional plumbers is not only the more reliable but even the more affordable option.
While hiring a professional might seem expensive upfront, it actually saves money in the long run. Proper repairs prevent recurring issues, costly water damage, and potential legal trouble from improper installations.
Plus, plumbers use high-tech equipment, such as sewer cameras, to inspect the inside of the pipe and pinpoint the exact cause of the problem. The point is not to make a repair but to make the right repair.
Professionals won’t just apply a temporary patch, either. At Service Hero, for instance, we employ advanced techniques such as hydro jetting drain cleaning or trenchless sewer repair to deliver quick but long-lasting solutions.
Perhaps the most valuable benefit of hiring professionals, however, is the peace of mind. Sewer line repairs must meet local plumbing codes and regulations, and a qualified plumber from an established plumbing company like Service Hero understands these requirements and ensures the work is done correctly.
